AMT / iAi

AMT (Arcadia Machine and Tool), also known as iAi (Irwindale Arms Incorporated), is another maker of 1911 Government Model guns. Their 10mm offerings were given the name Javelina and came in two sizes. The first was a standard 5" model and is very similar to Colt's Delta Gold Cup coming in stainless steel (bead blasted matte finish with brushed flats) with adjustable sights, an extended thumb safety, adjustable trigger and rubber wrap-around grips. The other AMT 10mm is referred to as the "Hunting Model" and is basically the same as the before mentioned gun, but wears a 7" barrel. Reportedly the AMT Javelina 10mm's were reliable and reasonably accurate 1911's. Probably not quite a Colt Delta, but much more refined than the Auto-Ordnance 10mm pistol.
